The many positive test reports and editorial contributions in the relevant trade press have shown that we have achieved a first-class success with our Grandone model. Whether as a randonneur or gravel bike. Of course we didn’t rest on our laurels, but further perfected the Grandone with an indestructible titanium frame for the next generation. We also use Shimano’s GRX group, which was specially developed for gravel bikes. This is characterized by robust components, a compact crank with 46 / 30 Z and the GRX Shadow Plus rear derailleur, which effectively prevents chain slapping in rough terrain.
For maximum braking power and optimum dosing, even when loaded, we combine Shimano 4-piston brake calipers with the GRX brake/shift combination.
Of course, the titanium frame offers all the important details that characterize our idworx bikes, such as our iSR-Road steering lock limiter, T47 bottom bracket housing, three bottle holder positions and the new dropouts, which enable a perfect symbiosis of extremely stiff disc brake mounts, form-fitting side stand attachment and luggage rack mounting. The rear wheel is fixed using a Syntace X12 thru-axle with the installation dimensions 12×142 mm.
