Rapid Rohler Ti
idworx Rapid Rohler Ti – Agile Titanium Mountain Bike with Rohloff Speedhub and Race-Ready Geometry
When it comes to innovative mountain bike geometry, Gerrit Gaastra has always been ahead of his time. A perfect example was the legendary “Double D” introduced in 2000. With its progressive 68° head angle and wide 2.4-inch tires, it delivered exceptional stability and control on technically demanding descents—an early expression of the idworx philosophy: Ride it all, all the time.
More than 21 years later, after extensive prototype development, countless training kilometers, and race experience from the entire Bike Basics team, idworx introduces a completely new concept: the Rapid Rohler Ti. This premium titanium hardtail mountain bike sets a new benchmark for agile trail riding and fast-flowing singletrack performance.
Designed as a counterpoint to the proven Evolution Geometry, the Rapid Rohler Ti features a radically different setup: an extremely steep steering angle, particularly short chainstays, and a relatively low bottom bracket. The result is incredibly playful, agile handling that almost feels like riding a gravel bike—fast, direct, and highly responsive.
This makes the Rapid Rohler Ti the perfect mountain bike for flowing, winding single trails, especially in low mountain ranges, forest trails, and classic Dutch MTB routes. In the hands of an experienced rider, this bike delivers lightning-fast trail performance and encourages active, dynamic riding with maximum fun and control.
Built around an indestructible titanium frame and equipped with large 29-inch wheels, the Rapid Rohler Ti combines lightweight performance with exceptional durability and long-term reliability. The legendary Rohloff Speedhub ensures ultra-low maintenance, precise shifting, and outstanding performance in all weather conditions—ideal for riders who demand maximum function with minimal service.
Now equipped as standard with powerful Shimano XT 4-piston brakes and the premium RockShox SID SL Ultimate suspension fork, the Rapid Rohler Ti offers top-level braking control, suspension performance, and trail confidence for ambitious mountain bikers.
For riders looking for a fast, playful, and low-maintenance titanium hardtail with Rohloff hub gearing, the idworx Rapid Rohler Ti is the ultimate choice for modern trail riding and technical singletrack adventures.

idworx EBB Long Life II
Eccentric bottom bracket with integrated, rustproof ball bearings. The only bottom bracket on the market with bearings that are actually sized to suit the load for an extremely long service life and optimal smooth running even under the highest loads. It also offers the option of installing our idworx Hesling chain case. Suitable for all idworx Rohloff models with eccentric bottom bracket for adjusting the chain play. Our idworx EBB-LL II is also compatible with Gates Carbon Drive belt drive.
idworx Long Life Chain Rings
The Long Life chain ring we developed at idworx made of hardened stainless steel with an uneven number of teeth together with the extra-hardened idworx KMC E1 ePT chain and the idworx Rohloff steel sprocket, makes for unprecedented longevity. In our oPinion models we even fit our Long Life chain ring back and front. Chain tension requires less frequent checks - a pleasing consequence of a more wear-resistant drive.
